Admission Requirements for International Undergraduate First-Time


Students: * Create an international undergraduate student account for uploading unofficial documentation and checking application status (www.raiderconnect.ttu.edu). Unofficial documentation can be used for evaluation purposes only. For admission, students are required to submit official documentation before the start of their first semester. * Official documentation may be submitted by your institution’s counselor directly to the TTU Counselor Portal. Institution officials/counselors should provide official high school transcript(s) in original language and certified English translations for all levels showing GPA and class rank. Applicants that provide a transcript without a rank will have a rank assigned in accordance with Texas Senate Bill 1543. * Submit proof of English proficiency directly from the testing agency to TTU. * Students are encouraged to submit SAT or ACT scores directly from the testing agency to TTU. These test scores are required for merit scholarship consideration and for admission into some majors. * SAT: TTU Code: 6859 * ACT: TTU Code: 4220 * Students are required to submit official transcripts from all institutions attended. Falsification or omission of information during the application/admission process may result in denial of admission to the university or admission being rescinded. * If admitted, students will receive additional information concerning I-2o documentation requirements.

Admission Requirements for International Transfer Students:

We do not accept fee waivers. * Provide official college transcript(s) in original language and certified English translations from all institutions in which the applicant has been or is currently enrolled. Official documentation may be submitted by your institution’s counselor directly to the TTU Counselor Portal. * Submit official documentation showing completion of high school (secondary school) through transcripts, diploma, exit examinations, etc. Counselors may submit official documentation through the TTU Counselor Portal. * Submit proof of English proficiency from the testing agency directly to TTU. * Students are encouraged to submit SAT or ACT scores directly from the testing agency to TTU. Students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree and wish to continuetheir education at the Master’s or Doctoral level should apply for admissionthrough the Office of Graduate Admissions.

Conditional Admissions for International Undergraduate Students


Conditional Admission for English ProficiencyTexas Tech partners with ELS Education Services to provide conditionaladmission to undergraduate applicants and graduate applicants to selectprograms who are academically qualified but do not meet our English languageproficiency requirements. Please send inquires to internationals@ttu.edu usingthe subject “Conditional Admission”.Prospective international students who meet the minimum academic requirementsfor admission consideration except for proof of English proficiency may applyfor conditional admission through ELS University Admissions (www.els.edu).International undergraduate students admitted conditionally must completeLevel 112 of ELS English for Academic Purposes program before beginning anacademic program at Texas Tech University. An official copy of the ELStranscript and certificate of completion must be submitted before registrationfor Texas Tech coursework will be allowed.

Transient Student Admissions Requirements


A transient student is a degree candidate at another institution who isgranted the privilege of temporary enrollment at Augusta University. To applyfor admission as a transient student applicants must: 1. File a completed application form. 2. Submit a letter of permission confirming good standing from the registrar of the college in which enrolled or matriculated. In addition, applicants are requested to submit a transcript from their home institution. Applicants can be admitted to Augusta University as transient students only if they are currently eligible for re-admission to their home institution.Transient students will be required to adhere to the same academic standardsthat govern regularly enrolled students. They may renew their status foradditional enrollment periods for a maximum of two semesters per calendaryear. For an exception of a third semester, they must submit written approvalfrom their home institution and complete a new application for the AugustaUniversity Admissions Office at least 30 days prior to the scheduledregistration for the third enrollment period. If financial aid is needed, transient students must approach the homeinstitution’s Financial Aid Office to request a consortium agreement forfinancial aid purposes.

Admission Requirements for International Students


* Secondary school leaving certificate which includes an overview of grades and subjects * Proof of completion of degree with average grade * Semi-annual or annual report of last 2 to 4 school years * English or German translation of all above documents with they are in any other language * Proof of German language proficiency * Passport or identity cardBased on the grades obtained by international students during their schoolyears, uni-assist evaluates whether they are eligible for admission or not. Insome cases, uni-assist may also recommend to take an assessment test orpreparatory course in Germany.
