Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admission in Delhi 2021


The eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission in Delhi as follows –JAC B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:Four engineering institutes participate in Joint Admission Counselling (JAC)to fill B.Tech seats. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech courses as per JACis as follows –Entrance Exam| * For B.Tech admission in JAC participating institutes, the candidates must have a valid score/ rank in JEE Main (Paper I) exam. —|— Domicile Rules| * 85% of seats in JAC participating institutes are applicable to Delhi region candidates. * A candidate who has passed Class 12 from a recognised school located in National capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for 85% of seats applicable for Delhi region candidates. * 15% of seats in JAC participating institutes will be applicable for outside Delhi region candidates. Candidates from other states can apply for admission under 15% all-India quota. Academic Requirements for B.Tech admission in DTU, IGDTUW and NSIT| * The candidates who have passed Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) with 60% of marks are eligible for B.Tech admission in DTU, IGDTUW and NSIT. * The candidates must have studied English as one of the subjects in Class 12. B.Tech admissions in Delhi through IPU CET are purely based on the merit.Candidates aspiring for B.Tech admission in GGSIPU or its affiliated collegesmust note that the admission authority will prepare an inter-se merit list,and the seat allotment will be based on the merit list. Similarly, choicesfilled by the candidates during the online registration process forcounselling will be considered for seat allotment.B.Tech admission procedure in Delhi through JAC and IPU CET is centralised andthe candidates must take part in the online counselling process for securingadmission.

B. Tech admission procedure in Delhi through IPU CET involves differentstages. The detailed IPU CET B.Tech counselling procedure can be checkedbelow:Submission of Counselling Participation Fee: * The candidates must visit the official website of IPU admissions to pay the counselling participation fee. * The candidates will have to click on the counselling fee payment link. * Please enter IPU CET Roll Number, Date of Birth and Mobile Number. * The candidates will see two options on the screen such as ‘Cash Payment through Challan’ and Net Banking/ Credit Card or Debit Card. * The candidates can choose any payment mode. * If the candidate wants to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1,000 through E-Challan, they must download the same from the official website. Visit the nearest Indian Bank branch to deposit the counselling fee. The candidates will receive a fee payment receipt. * If the counselling fee is paid in online mode, the candidates will have to take the printout of counselling participation fee payment receipt.Registration: * After the counselling participation fee payment, the candidates can visit the IPU admissions website to register for IPU CET counselling. Candidates can fill the OJEE 2021 Application form from February 2021 whichwill be carried online only.
