International candidates must meet all of the following requirements:Spring Semester, 2021 (EARLY only) * Candidates who have graduated or will graduate from his or her high school by February 28th, 2021.Fall Semester, 2021 * Candidates who have graduated or will graduate from his or her high school by August 31st, 2021.Applicants with foreign citizenship * Applicants who hold Korean Citizenship(dual citizenship) are not eligible to apply as foreign students * International applicants MUST ADDITIONALLY satisfy one of the following two requirements: * Neither of the applicant’s parents is a Korean citizen, or * For applicants of Korean Origin, he/she must have received his/her entire elementary, junior high, and high school education outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level of that provided in Korea. * Note that international schools located in Korea are NOT acknowledged as foreign schools. * Applicants who completed or will have completed high schools in Korea (국내에 거주하는 국내 고교 출신 외국인 학생) are also welcomed to apply to KAIST Undergraduate program.There is no transfer program for international students. You have to apply asa freshman student.

To apply for a KAIST graduate program, international applicants must satisfyALL of the following requirements:Degree requirement for Master’s Degree Program * Applicants hold or or expect to hold a bachelor’s degree before enrollment at KAIST.For Doctoral Degree Program * Applicants hold or expect to hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree before enrollment at KAISTCitizenship Requirement Applicants are not a citizen of Korea * Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible for applying as international students.International applicants of Korean ethnicity, regardless of place of birth,MUST additionally satisfy ONE of the two requirements below: * Neither of the applicant’s parents is a citizen of Korea * The applicant must have received his/her entire elementary, junior high, and high school education OUTSIDE of Korea at the comparable and equivalent level of those provided in Korea. * In this case, international schools located in Korea are not acknowledged as foreign schools. Application Deadline for TUM
The application period for the winter term 2021/22 will start on 1 January2021, and the deadline will be 31 May 2021. Your application has to be fullycompleted online at this date. Please note that we select our students carefully and that this process willtake some time. Therefore, we will split the selection process into two parts: In the firstpart we will handle all applications which are sent until 15 March, in thesecond one we will handle the remaining applications. The selection will take approx. 2 month, i.e. the admission letters will beavailable approx. * end of May if you apply until 15 March * end of July if you apply until 31 MayIf you need to apply for a visa we therefore recommend to apply until theearlier deadline. Please note: A visa must be applied for well in advance of your departure (atleast 2 months ahead of time!). You will need to apply for your visa at the embassy / consulate of the FederalRepublic of Germany in your home country. Applicants from EU/EWR nations as well as some other nations are exempt fromthis regulation. Also see here about countries whose citizens require / do notrequire a visa.
Application Deadline for uni-assit
All applicants who did not obtain their qualification for postgraduate studies(usually a bachelor’s degree) in a country within the EU/EEA have to hand indocuments additionally to uni-assist.The TUM webpage describes the additional application step via uni-assist.The deadlines for handing in documents to uni-assist are in general the sameas for your application at TUM. However, uni-assist needs additionalprocessing time (up to 6 weeks). TUM will start processing your applicationonly after receiving the results of the documents check of uni-assist.Therefore, we recommend to hand in documents to uni-assist 6 weeks beforeapplication deadline (15th March or 31st May).Medical School Admissions: UT Southwestern
Holistic Applicant Evaluation
Applications are thoroughly reviewed by an Admissions Committee appointed bythe Dean of the Medical School. The committee is composed of faculty membersfrom both basic science and clinical departments. The Committee evaluatescandidates in a holistic manner.
