IIT Delhi M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria for IIT Delhi M.Tech admission2021 – * Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of their qualifying degree program. * Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks/ 6.0 CGPA in their qualifying degree. * Applicants who are in their final year will be shortlisted on the basis of marks up to their seventh semester or 3rd year. * Candidates must have valid GATE scores.
IIT Delhi M.Tech 2021 Admission – Eligibility Criteria for IIT Graduates
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the final year of theirqualifying degree from any Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) with aminimum CGPA of 8.0 are eligible for direct admission in IIT Delhi, withouthaving to qualify GATE. Such candidates are shortlisted on the basis of theirmarks in graduation. The institute conducts personal interviews of shortlistedcandidates and IIT Delhi M.Tech admission is offered on the basis ofperformance in the interview.
IIT Delhi M.Tech Admission Process 2021
The authorities conduct IIT Delhi M.Tech admission on the basis of the GATEscore of the candidates. However, IIT graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or aboveare not required to appear for the GATE exam. Such candidates are admitted onthe basis of a personal interview.
IIT Delhi M.Tech 2021 Admission
The detailed IIT Delhi admission process is as follows -Step 1 – Filling IIT Delhi M.Tech Application – Candidates are first requiredto fill the online application form of IIT Delhi M.Tech admission 2021. Whilefilling the application form, candidates are required to mention the admissionmode, whether IIT graduate with 8.0 CGPA or through GATE.Step 2 – Register for COAP 2021 – After completing the application form,candidates will also have to register for GATE COAP 2021 to be considered foradmission to the institute. Candidates will have to choose IIT Delhi as theirpreferred college in the GATE COAP process.Step 3 – Seat Allotment – Candidates who applied through GATE scores will beable to check their allotment status as per the COAP seat allotment schedule.IIT Graduates with 8.0 CGPA or above will have to log in to the IIT Delhicandidate portal for a schedule of personal interviews. The interview will bedone in online mode.Step 5 – Admission process – Candidates who will be allotted seats will haveto complete the further admission process as per instructions from the IITDelhi portal.

IIT Delhi Admission Process
The admission procedures on grounds of the courses available at the IndianInstitute of Technology in Delhi are given below – * BE / B.Tech – Admission is based on JOSAA counselling, which is determined by the rank obtained in JEE Advanced. The marks scored in the Higher Secondary Examination is also taken into account. * ME / M.Tech – Willing candidates can register online with the required information provided on the college website. Selected candidates will then sit for written exam or interview on the basis of the marks scored in GATE. Candidates who have scored a C.G.P.A. of 7.5 or more in B.E/B. Tech./ M.Sc. and the required cut off marks in GATE don’t have to appear for the written test or interview. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the marks scored in GATE and qualifying exam. The performance in written test and interview is also taken into account.

Scholarship for research: The selected candidate will be provided with a sum of Rs 15,000 per month. The rewarded student has to work 20 hours a week, whereas a student who is offered the TAship or Teaching Assistantship will have to work 8 hours a week in exchange of a reward of Rs.8,000 per month. 2. Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships: Of all the undergraduates studying in the college only 25% are awarded this scholarship. The recipient will also not have to pay his or her tuition fee. The candidates for the first year are shortlisted on the basis of their All India Rank in JEE exam.Financial SupportTeaching or Research Assistantship: The eligible candidates for theTeaching/Research Assistantship are the non-sponsored students who takeadmission to the M.S research programmes on a full-time basis. They will haveto work 8 hours a week for the department for which they will be paid anamount of Rs 12,400 per month.
